Semi Permanent Brows

Eyebrow tattoo is a two-step treatment, consisting of an initial procedure and then a touch up between 6 to 10 weeks after. After taking your before photo, I will draw the brow design in pencil so you get an idea of shape and form. (Please note that nobody’s face is totally symmetrical and you need to be realistic with your expectations.

There is no point in trying to make the eyebrows identical or match a photo of your favorite celebrities’ eyebrows if your face shape looks nothing like theirs.). Once we have agreed on a final shape (ultimately it is your decision – but I will always voice my opinion on what I think suits you aesthetically), I will shape your eyebrows then we will decide on the color. Shortly after that, a topical anesthetic will be administered to ensure comfort.

Once you’re numb, the pigment is deposited. During healing, it’s normal to experience some pigment loss; this is why we have the touch up in place.

Here's What Everyone Wants To Know...

Yes, I am a Licensed tattoo artist and Full Specialist. Certified in Cosmetic Permanent Makeup, Eyelash Extensions and Body waxing.

Instead of creating hair strokes eyebrow like Microblading, this technique is natural shading a gradient effect from the beginning of the brow to the end starting from light and fading to dark, give your brow the sharp yet natural look.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure where a special handheld microblading eyebrow pen is used to draw on strokes that mimic the appearance of real brow hair.

We get mix reviews on pain. Everyone has a different level of sensitivity so topical anesthetics are applied before and during the treatment to alleviate any sensation or discomfort. Some clients naturally feel one brow sorer than the other. You will hear a scratch noise/ sensation throughout. Music is usually played during the procedure, however feel free to bring your own earphones and music to distract you.

Absolutely. All supplies are disposable.

You won’t be swollen, you just might have slightly red skin around eyebrows, but this would last about a day.

Most likely and is recommended. Within a week of your first treatment the color will fade significantly and over the next four to six weeks can continue to fade as much as 50%. This is considered an extremely positive occurrence as it allows you time to reflect on your shape and color. After this period your follow-up appointment is carried out.

In order to keep your eyebrow tattoo results looking fresh, we recommend a touch up every year.

It will last as long as it’s maintained. How long brows lasts will vary on your skin type by how well your skin takes in pigment during the session and how dark you are willing to go depending on scenario. After a touch up, brows is expected to last from 1 to 3 years depending on the shade of choice you prefer, skin retention, time in the sun and daily skin routines (more exfoliating products, faster the fade).

The procedure takes roughly about two to three hours, sometimes more sometimes less. Please allow a solid 3-hour window for your appointment. I likely won’t need that much time, but this isn’t something I want to rush.

No. There’s no downtime associated with the treatment. Redness and swelling will dissipate within an hour after. Your brows will appear darker initially, but not so dark that you will be prevented from your activities of daily living.

Healing time varies from individual to individual. Usually, it takes about 7 to 14 days for the epithelial crust to form and slough off. Your skin will be considered healed after that happens. Then, the pigment takes some time to settle into the skin. A good month should pass before I consider the process complete.

You are advised to keep the skin clean and dry – that means no swimming, sweating or otherwise getting the area wet; no tanning or prolonged sun exposure; no picking, peeling, scratching or rubbing the tattoo, this may result in a loss of color and scarring. You can still wash your hair and face and once they’re healed up, you treat them as your own.

No. Every attempt is made to retain all natural hair and integrate it into the design of the permanent eyebrows. In some cases, where shaping of the natural brow is required, a few hairs here and there may need to be removed to create a clean and aesthetically pleasing result.

Lash Care FAQ

Make sure you use oil free products on your face! Particularly eye makeup removers and cleansers.

Keep them as dry as possible for the next 24hrs. This means please do not wash your hair doing this time. If you must, use warm water and avoid the eye area.

Avoid steamy environments, such as very hot showers, spas, saunas, etc., for a minimum 24hrs as well as humid areas. Avoiding all of this will allow the adhesive to cure strongly.

Within the first 24hrs avoid touching them. The more you touch them, the more natural oils from your fingers get on them and can strain the lash root. Avoid pulling or rubbing excessively on the eyes.

Do not avoid any sign of irritation such as burning, swelling, redness and/or itching. Poor sanitation practices, improper adhesive applications and sensitivity to lash extension adhesives are some factors that can trigger discomfort. Consult with Alluring Lashes and Brows technician for removal.

Please do not remove lashes yourself. Please consult with your technician for professional removing if you are having issues.

After Waxing

For the next 24 hours….

Avoid any activity that involves sweating including intimacy and exercising.

To help the healing process please look into our products (PFB) to reduce redness and inflammation post waxing.

We get the question all the time, “Could I go to the beach right after my service?” answer is NOOOO…. Please, please avoid the beach and allow the skin to heal at least 24 hrs. minimum. The beach is full of bacteria that could get into the pores of your skin and cause an infection, so AVOID THE BEACH FOR 24hrs… PLEASE!!!

Avoid perfumed products, deodorant for underarms axing, lotions and creams for other body waxing as they can cause irritation and clogged pores.

Avoid exfoliating after service. Wait at least a week to exfoliate.

Avoid the sun immediately after waxing and wear sun screen; recently waxed areas are prone to hyperpigmentation (permanent darkening of the skin) if exposed to the sun or solarium.

Between waxes (Maintenance) – Essentials to keep your skin looking blemish, redness and/or in grown free.

Exfoliate within a week after wax treatment (also, one to 2x a week on going). This will help mire the dead skin cells and allow our hair to grow to avoid ingrown. Ingrowns can be a pain and we must exfoliate to avoid them. Check out Alluring PMU Aesthetics gentle exfoliating soap.

Don’t shave!!! Defeating the purpose of waxing and allow the hair to grow at the same rate, so all the hair could be pulled together. Hair is usually off patterns due to shaving.

Schedule for appointments!! Depending on the client and the area of treatment. First timers should come every 3-4 weeks so that hair can grow on the same cycle. After about 5x of coming consecutively, services can be extended out to 6-8 weeks.

Waxing Care

Before Waxing: Your hair should be at least ¼ inches long before getting any hair removed. One of the mistakes clients make before any hair removal service is shaving. In that case, we ask for a minimum of 2 weeks to be waited before getting a wax here at Alluring PMU & Aesthetics. If you are unsure of how long, your wax tech can determine it before application.

Hygiene… You may think this is quite obvious, but we do ask that our clients come fresh as this will help self-conscious (due to these procedures are very personal) and will thank your wax tech.

Along with hygiene, try to exfoliate the morning of you service. Alluring PMU & Aesthetics offer a gentle soap scrub that can help your waxing service. Exfoliating helps to lift the hair off the skin making the wax treatment more effective.

Period… The best time to wax is at least one week after you period. Although, you are still able to get a wax on or before your period, this will help with the sensitivity.

Clothing… Please wear loose fitting clothes prior to waxing. Putting on tight-non-breathable clothing after a fresh wax will irritate the skin and may delay the healing process.

Avoid sun tanning before wax treatment for at least 48 hours.

If you have low pain tolerance, we suggest taking pain reliever 1 hour prior to service.

Pregnant women are ok to get waxes at any time of pregnancy; however, skin is more sensitive during the process.

During Waxing: Yes, it will hurt…. There are several types of waxes in the market for waxing and some claim to be painless but here at Alluring PMU & Aesthetics we use hard wax. Honestly, it all depends on the client pain tolerance. We suggest taking a pain reliever or apply numbing cream an hour prior to service.

This is an up close and personal treatment. In order for our wax techs to remove all unwanted hair, we will need access to all spots; this may include needing your assistance in moving in awkward positions. Also, to satisfy the client by removing all unwanted hair, some hair maybe left behind after waxing, so to ensure we meet our goal we may tweeze. Sometimes tweezing can be annoying but we will always ask before we begin.

After service is complete, you technician will apply products to start the healing process.
